I thought I would give my self a break from the book I seem to be writing. Besides being on the computer the things you will catch me doing the day time is reading Tom Clancy, or watching NCIS. Maybe in a couple of years they will have a 24 hour channel of the episodes. I would be tuned in a lot. I missed most of the first year so it took me a while to catch up but with the first 2 years. Thankfully DVD’s were coming out then and I was able to catch up. I have liked all the characters but of course some more than others. When Kate was killed off I thought that was a big mistake. That was before I found out Sasha wanted off the show. Looking back it probably helped the show advance the characters and it gave me a deeper reason to get into the characters. Let’s go down the list and you can see my evaluation of them. Not that it matters but why not. [1] Gibbs, of course everyone’s favorite and rightly so. By no means a fathers knows best type of guy but a person that cares about his team and his job. I am always trying to figure out how we [me and Gibbs] would get along. We could communicate but I might find myself being treated like the early Jimmy Palmer.[2] DiNozzo, I would hope we would get along. I like movies and sports but I am afraid it would stop right there. Though he has changed for the good for the most part, his ego would drive me crazy. But over the years of watching I think you must have one to survive the life they have to go through. He would been fun an a Saturday night if he was sober.
[3] McGee, We definitely would get along and maybe buds but not close friends. Too intelligent and I could not keep up with his gaming. Hearts and Bejewled 3 are my games, Not zombies and shootem up army games. Nothing wrong with those but over my head.[4] Kate would be nice to know. A sister type lady. If we were ever to meet we could be friends though not much beyond that. She had values and kept them. A very nice trait.[5] Ziva, wow what I wouldn’t do for a night out with her. I would wine her and dine her and try to find a place with music we could dance to or even maybe a bar and listen to a blues band. But after that night she probably would find out we don’t have much in common and she would graciously bow out of any more. Buds but not friends. But I would have to say I could beat anyone she has had on the show. Not that it was bad casting but she only knows people like that and people tend to lean that way in relationships, even if they are harmful.[6] Ducky would be fun but too old and [6] Palmer the same but too young. Besides he is married now. That leaves[7] ABBY. She would be fun on a date but she seems more eccentric than I am used too. Too much Caff Pow and maybe too much of a party girl. Bowling would be fun but not with the nuns. We also would have communication problems after a while. I wouldn’t be able to meet with any of the Directors because I would never be in the same places to meet them. I will say this I never cared about Jenny Shepard, even though she was supposed to have brought us Ziva.
Tom Clancy, he is my favorite author today. I am reading his last book about Jack Ryan,” Command Authority”. I have read all the other Ryan Books and have liked each one. The first was my favorite ” Hunt for Red October”. I learned a lot about submarines from that book. His second book ” World War Three” is my second favorite. It isn’t a Jack Ryan Book but very exciting and keeps you interested in the whole thing. I wish they would make a movie about it. ” The Sum of All Fears was the bloodiest and scariest of all the books. It was about terrorist that found a lost nuclear bomb and it was used at a Super bowl game. The last 4 has been more about Jack’s son Jack Jr. Not in the same class as his dad but he has his moments. I don’t want to give away anything so I will stop now. God Bless ya.

Part 9 Germany and what leads to war.

The German Parliament was up for grabs for whomever wanted it. The Nazis started out small in 1930 and by 1933 they had enough delegates to chose the new Chancellor, Adolf Hitler. Once in power he started out quick and maneuvered to have total control and didn’t let the opposition have any power or veto power. He ran on 3 main ideas. Germany and its people were superior to all others, Jews were evil and all that is bad were because of them. It was time for Germany to again show its superiority. The world was still in a depression but Hitler put people to work making war materials. Every thing, guns, bombs, tanks, planes and uniforms. This was against the 1918 treaties, of course by this time the League of Nations was void of any power and useless. There are so many things that would be good in a history book but this isn’t the place. But 3 things we have to know. Hitler hated Jews, thought he and the Aryans were better than anyone else and destined to rule the world. He also didn’t care how these things came about. Jews from the very beginning were treated bad. Arrested for walking down the street, being too close to a gentile woman. Soon the shops and work places were being broken into and burned. Gypsies, Jews, Communist, Jehovah Witnesses were all on the hit list. Later it was to be expanded to the mentally and physical handicapped, Christians that didn’t follow him and anyone that helped a Jew.
This same country was to hold the 1936 Olympics. Some sources say that most of the housing and arenas that were built was mostly done by slave labor. Where was the rest of the world while the awful things were going on. Mostly absorbed in their own troubles. That is not to sound mean toward them but many countries were still reeling from W. W. 1. The U.S. was trying to feed the country as well as finding jobs. Britain and France had their own countries to worry about. Beside it was Jews that had the problem, a small minority that nobody cared for. It was the perfect time for Hitler and his plans for Germany, all of them. More later.

There is nothing I can say about Adolf Hitler that hasn’t been said or written about but for a bringing together my different areas I think I need to have a back ground and say a few things about him.
He was brought up Catholic but his parents were not strong believers either in the church or God. He went to a Catholic school and hated it. This is my take of what happened. It was a very strict school and Adolf wasn’t used to being disciplined (though some say his dad beat him, he never had much structure at home) He wasn’t an A student and only cared about art. He was intelligent and I think the school misread him. After school he took his drawings to different schools of art but never got in. Good but not great. Soon came WW1. He was made a courier of messages to and from the front trenches to Head Quarters. This is also where he got his political beliefs worked out. Lunch either in the mess hall or in the front lines always brought about talk of politics and how the world should be ran. He was injured on one of his many trips to the front. Though not a near death wound it was serious enough he wasn’t allowed to be a courier any more. He also received a medal The Iron Cross 2nd degree and later the Iron Cross 1rst degree. Also the a medal similar to our Purple Heart. Later being close to the front he got some mustard gas that he spent several weeks in the hospital. While there the war ended and receiving the word that Germany lost it is said he went blind for a while.
Before I go further Hitler was raised in Austria and was in an Austrian regiment. He as an adult always considered himself a German. I will try to speed things up some without losing any main points, I hope.
After the war Hitler found a job spying on political parties. But while spying he stated speaking his mind and soon he got a following. The Nazi party started with a few frustrated war vets in a bar.
His party started to grow, and held meetings any where they could. While still a fairly small group they stormed Munich city hall. He got arrested and sent to prison for 5 years. He only spent 1. While in there he wrote Mein Kamp. I am guessing but I feel like this might be the time satan came and took over his life. He also was allowed to give his speeches and after he was released many guards were soon a part of the Nazi party. His jailing only made him a hero to many. Ending this now. I feel like I am spending too much time on this so I hope to speed things up next time. Thanks and always feel free to comment.

MANKIND PART 8 Hitler and Germany

I am getting help by the internet on some of this but I will try to keep from getting full quotes or lines from different articles. I am saying this for 2 reasons, I am trying very hard to put everything down in my words but I am getting help so don’t get the idea I am a genius on these topics. At the end of part 7 I was just getting into Germany and the politics and why it went the ways it did after WW1. First thing is the defeat in its self. Germany more surrendered before more damage was done than really losing that it couldn’t go on. It could not have lasted much longer as it could not arm, feed, and pay the soldiers for much longer. From what I have read there was no decisive battle or blow that ended the war. That is very important to understand so we can understand the German way of thinking between wars. Next came the surrender terms and the Treat of Versailles. It made Germany say it started the war, which it disclaims, made to pay damages to the winning countries and was told never to rebuild the army. All of this was signed by then the powers in leadership in 1919. As I also said in my last part was the Kaiser was soon out of power and a void came in for several tears. One of the new parties that appeared was the Workers Party. Not much work going on but it had the right name for the time. These parties would speak where ever allowed. At beer halls, parks , civic centers and even churches. Remember who was around at these times, communist, anarchist, loyalist, fascist, and new one the block the Nazis. The workers party went onto be named Nation Socialist German Workers Party or Nazis. Hitler was not the founder of the party or the leader at first but he made the right friends, spoke the right language [ German, Aryan power, and anti-Semitism]. According to them, they did not lose the war, the bureaucrats stole the war from them. Germany and the Aryan race was a special breed that was meant to rule the world. Third but not least the Jews was the ruination of Germany and of Europe. It sounds to far fetched to be true but Germany was in a void right then and that was going to be filled either with good or evil. Looking at the other parties and the leadership none were very good and all would have been used for Satan to Kill, Steal and Destroy. One more thing before I quit for the night. Hitler was a great orator. The way the Nazis used him and the voice that he had could hold people for long periods at a time. My answer to the short little corporal, he was demon possessed and it probably happened in prison.

Mankind PT 7 Continued.

I don’t know if I left you knowing what was happening across the US back in the thirties or not but it is time to move on. This is part 7 continued because I am going to share more of the thirties but in Europe. I have said I am a history buff but most of this will be off the top of my head so please if you find something wrong let me know. The 20’s in Europe was rebuilding time for most of Europe but not for every one. England was recovering from the death many young men. Some were the top of every college and for some schools whole classes were wiped out. Not just 1 or 2 but all 4 or close to it. France was about the same. It and England got some winners money from Germany, Austria, and the now defunct Ottoman Empire. Each took some of the middle east after the war. More on that later. Both countries reduced the armies and did little in the way of rebuilding either armies. France did build the Maginot Line but no tanks or air power of any kind. Great Britain did have the best Navy in the world at this time but It wasn’t until later that they began to produce airplanes for war. It wasn’t until too late did they see Germany rising and the power it weld. Both thought war was a thing of the past.
Germany during the 20s was rebuilding but more than just infrastructure. It had a large power gap that had to be filled. They didn’t want a Kaiser to lead or any royalty. Many factions came about in a short time. Communist, Fascist, libertarians and plenty of anarchist. Germany, Austria, and Hungary were supposed to have any armies or building any supplies for war, tanks, planes, or large weapons of any sort. But as I said earlier The League of Nations was supposed to handle all of this mess. But they didn’t have the money or the power to do the things needed to be done. Going to quit here . A lot more to come but my eyes have had enough.
