Last Tuesday a man of God left us to be with Jesus. His name is Don Leetch. I first met Don when I was going to a small fellowship in Lincoln. We would sometimes come over for a Sunday night service. Don or Dean would do the preaching and they always had a good word for us. That was before Out Reach really leaned more charismatic. Please don’t get hung up on my words or phrases . If Out Reach had known what we do today I do think Angels would have been seen in the Church. I am glad I got to hear Don then and meet such a fine man. Several years later I was able to be a member of the Church and he remembered me and why. I was able to use him several times as a mentor and teacher. If he couldn’t meet me when I thought was a good time he either said how about now or he gave me a time when we would have lots of time together. Due to circumstances beyond my control I couldn’t stay there very long but a friendship had been formed and was never distinguished no matter how long we were separated. Now that was never very long because no matter where in Siloam I went to church, he always made time for me just as if I had never left Out Reach. I did use him also. My spirit let me know Don had God’s spirit. That is nothing new to the hundreds or more that got to know Don during his 88 years. I have no vision or quest to be like Don. He always said be yourself and be like Christ. Leola his wife has said if we have given you something to pass it on. What I can, I hope I will.
I know Don is being Blessed more than ever now and I hope I can bless people close to like Don and his family has. God Bless You All.

I took a break from this to rest and get some ideas how to go on. I will not give you a history of WW 2 or even to give you lessons about the concentration camps.  If you want to learn about battles, strategies or the mass slaughter of the Jews then you would best find books on the subjects or even go to you tube and you will find many things on almost any subject you want but beware there are also lies  that you will need to look out for. Muslim, Aryan, atheist, people that just like to print lies on anything will be on there.  The Nazi hatred of the Jews started before they even came into power in 1933. Once in power in multiplied very fast. From shutting down their places of business to taking away basic rights that any one should have. They were killing the Jews by the hundreds by the time the war started in 1939. By 1943 the death camps were being built and some in full swing. Killing the Jews brought 3 problems for the Nazis,  wasting of bullets needed for the front lines, the strain it put on the soldiers doing the killing, and what to do with the bodies after they had been killed. That is why the camps came into being and the gas chambers and the ovens to get rid of the bodies. As I said earlier there are many books and documentaries on this subject but 2 I like is the Hiding Place and Schindler’s List. I normally would not tell any one to rent a movie with so much nudity and violence but it tells a true story and shows the camps in a real light.

6 to 8 million Jews died under Hitler’s reign of terror. 3 to 6 million others died in the camps. Wikipedia says 50 to 80 million died because of war at this time, These figures are from German and Japanese fronts. Civilians killed 33 to 55 million, military 22 to 25 million, and POW’S 5 million. Small pause to let this soak in. Sin in the world that is at its highest form. Satan at his best at stealing, killing, and destroying. But yet to hear atheist or non- believers tell it Religion is the culprit and Christianity at the top. When they tell me the German churches approved of Hitler and his ways I have to scoff. Satan was at his best in Germany because they wanted to be the greatest and they thought he was going to prove to the world they were. Were some pastors deceived and some churches as a whole yes. But the others that knew the Bible and had a special relationship with Jesus they knew he was a fraud and did not partake in the mass hysteria which was Nazism. WW 2 lasted from July 1939 to August 1945. It was our parents and grand parents war but many spiritual battles are still being fought over the Jews and Israel and the battle isn’t over yet.

I have decided to quit this here. Man kind has not lost its lust for war or destruction of each other. The Jews now have a home land but spiritual and physical battles are being fought almost every day. I want to do more on the ramifications they as God’s chosen has on us and we as adoptive sons and daughters have on them. I hoped I haven’t bored any one and if you have something to add or want to share with me please do. Thank, BEN C.
